Note Design Studio has crafted a stunning showroom for Lammhults Design Group, transforming the furniture brand's space into a hub for creative collaboration. The showroom, located at Norrlandsgatan 20 in central Stockholm, is a testament to the studio's innovative approach, blending raw industrial aesthetics with a thoughtful design that showcases Lammhults' diverse range of contract furniture. But here's where it gets controversial: the design's stripped-back minimalism may not appeal to everyone, and some might argue that it overshadows the unique identities of each brand under the Lammhults umbrella. However, this is the part most people miss: the design's simplicity allows the products to take center stage, creating a neutral backdrop that highlights their beauty and functionality. The showroom's design is a strategic move by Lammhults Design Group to strengthen its presence in the industry by leveraging the synergy of its brands. The space is divided into contextual environments, each designed to showcase products alongside each other, allowing customers to engage with them and try them out. Note Design Studio utilized simple and affordable materials, such as rattan carpets, through-colored Valchromat panels, and eco-friendly floor tiles, to create a neutral scheme that allows the products to stand out. The pared-back aesthetic is supported by a neutral color palette chosen to complement the different furniture and create a sense of cohesion throughout the showroom's spaces. The showroom currently contains some of Lammhults' key pieces, including the Geofanti sofa by designer Anya Sebton and a configuration of the modular Bao sofa system designed for the brand by Note. Some of the environments also feature acoustic wall panels and lamps from Abstracta, with tables and cabinets from Ragnars and Fora Form furniture, including a yellow and chrome edition of the Bud meeting room chair. The space is illuminated by rows of suspended LED light tubes that are dimmable and offer precise color adjustment, allowing the atmosphere in the space to be altered to suit the time of day or occasion. The showroom is a symbol of Lammhults Design Group's more integrated and customer-focused approach, and it will become a hub for customer dialogue, creative collaborations, and inspiration. The company's new strategic direction is based on the concept 'Scandinavian Design. Multiplied', and it will see each brand continue to evolve its individual strengths while offering customers a holistic solution for contract projects.
